
When pure water, heated to just the right temperature, hits freshly ground beans inside our Egro® Swiss Coffee System brewers, the result is a heavenly bit of chemistry. The water reacts with and releases the aromatic oils locked in the beans, extracting incredibly nuanced flavors of citrus, fruit, berries, flowers, chocolate, and spice—with no bitterness. The visual proof of this is a thick head of aromatic crema, immediately apparent not just on our espresso drinks, but also on our regular coffee. Crema gives brewed coffee its complexity, depth of flavor, and texture. For many of our customers, it also means they are less inspired to alter their cup with excess milk and sugar—enjoying instead the pure coffee flavors they may never before have experienced.
